Metro Walkers of Atlanta Galloway Training Program (Sep 8, 2018 - Sep 8, 2019)

About Jeff Galloway’s Program: The Metro Walkers of Atlanta is a walkers’ ONLY Jeff Galloway training program.  We have been walking consistently as a group since September of 2007.  Our group focuses on walking as a means of improving overall fitness.   We meet every Saturday morning in the metro-Atlanta area.  We have three training groups – beginner, intermediate and advanced.   While several group members train for half-marathons year round and other group members progress to the Galloway run/walk programs, the majority of our members strive to improve health through consistent walking.  Each year we have two sessions – Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.  During the Spring/Summer Session (February to August) we primarily train towards the Peachtree 10k which is held every year on the 4th of July in Atlanta.   Our Fall/Winter Session runs from September to mid-February.  During this session, we primarily train towards the National Breast Cancer Half Marathon with Donna held every year around the second week of February in Jacksonville, Florida. We would love to have you but, if you're not certain about whether to join, email us at MetroWalkAtlanta@gmail.com.  MetroWalkAtlanta.orgEvent details and scheduleGeneral Info: Contact Program Director Monica Mulholland at MetroWalkAtlanta@gmail.com or 404-232-9848. Ragnar Trail So Cal - Fall

Ragnar So Cal Trail, the race formerly known as Ragnar Trail Los Coyotes, is back on Nov. 8-9, 2019. Even though its got a new name, its still the same great race you know and love. Runners and the Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla & Cupeno Indians will come together for the best running party under the stars at the Los Coyotes Reservation, about two hours outside of San Diego. With its tough mountain hills and all of the elements and elevation that come with it, this overnight trail-running relay isnt for the faint of heart. Its been crowned as Ragnars most challenging trail race.
