Eclipse Glow Run 5K - Glow in the Park

Register now for the inaugural Glow Run 5K- Glow in the Park to be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 7:45PM at Cherokee Veterans Park at 7345 Cumming Highway in Canton, GA.  Kids Fun Run will be held at 7:15 PM. Rain or shine. This will be a chip-timed 5k race. Awards will be provided for the top racers, both male and female, in the following age divisions: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19 – 29; 30-39; 40 – 49; 50 – 59; and 60+. The kids Fun Run will not be chip-timed but there will be a running clock.  Medals will be given for this race also. The registration cost will increase to $30 at midnight on 3/1. Online registration closes on 3/21 at midnight. There will be race day registration for $35, however there will not be chip timers for those registering on race day. Have you ever done a Glow Run before? If not, you should expect this race to be like no other you have run before. While it is a 5K, the focus is on friends and family running, walking or jogging to complete a 5K in celebration of all things Glow. Registration includes a glow item and T-shirt. Glow items will also be on sale for runners and spectators.  Please sign up and come dressed in your Glow Best!!!! Packet pick-up and the race will be held at Cherokee Veterns Park at 7345 Cumming Highway Canton GA, 30115.  Packet pickup will start at 5:30 PM the day of the race.Event details and scheduleThe 5K race will begin promptly at 7:45PM on 3/23 and will be run throughout Veterans Park pathways.  Rain or shine. The cost will increase to $30 on 3/1.  Online Registration ends on 3/21 at midnight.  We will have "day of" registration for $35. 5K Race participants must be at Cherokee Veterans Park by 7:10PM on race day. It is recommended participants be at the park by 7:00PM. The Kids Fun Run will begin promptly at 7:15PM on 3/23.  The cost will increase to $25 on 3/1.  Online Registration ends on 3/21 at midnight.   Day of registration will be $30. Kids Fun Run participants must be at Cherokee Veterans Park by 6:45PM on race day. It is recommended participants be at the park by 6:30PM. PRAYER: The World's Great Wireless Connection 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2       Welcome to the Bible Race Series! This is a series of virtual races devoted to scriptures from the Bible.  Join us as we spread the good word around the world! Each month we will have two races to choose from.  You have the entire month to complete your race(s).  You are invited to join them all! You can choose to run or walk each race.   HOW IT WORKS: Each race is a virtual race, so you can complete your race from wherever you live around the world.  We ship your medals directly to you.  You map out your own race and complete it on your own, or with friends.  For all of our 2019 events, we will be donating 15% of each registration to an incredible organization, Feed My Starving Children.  Our goal is to raise at least $10,000 for them in 2019!   Complete your race anytime in March.  Medals for this event will begin shipping out at the end of February 2019.  If you sign up after that they will ship within 3 to 7 days of signing up. Run For The Health Of It 5K & 8K Run/Walk

The White-Wilson Community Foundation will host the 7th Annual Run for the Health of It 5K & 8K on Saturday, March 23, 2019.  Runners and walkers will traverse through the side streets located on beautiful Okaloosa Island.     Multiple categories for runners and walkers alike.  There will even be a "Diaper Dash" that will engage the little ones.  Medals will be awarded to the diaper dashers.   All proceeds benefit the White-Wilson Community Foundation and will help support health education and services in our community.  Working together we can all help make our community the healthiest on Earth!!Event details and schedulePick up your pre-race packet at AJ's Oyster Shanty on Fri. March 22 from 4:30 until 6:30 pm.  You will receive your t-shirt if you registered prior to March 15th, bib, and other information at that time. The event will begin on Sat. March 23 with last minute signup from 8:00 until 8:30 am at AJ's Oyster Shanty on Okaloosa Island.  There will be booths, group warm up activities, light snacks and lots of comaradarie.  Review the courses further on these event details.  The race will start promptly at 9:00 am.  Water stations will be provided along the way.Parking is a at a premium so be sure to arrive early enough to get a great place to park.  Be aware of some marked areas where "no parking" is allowed.   Race officials must have all waivers signed and on file prior to the race.  Wear comfortable clothing and pins are provided for the bibs.   Most importantly ... come prepared to have a fun filled day with friends and family.

The youth group "ACE" from Hillcrest Baptist Church is proud to present the 4th annual "ACE Accept Christ Everyday" 5K and 1 mile fun run! Come out to the beautiful campus of East Georgia State College for a morning full of fellowship and friends!! The youth at HBC are very involved in the ministry and eager to continue on their journey of spreading the word of Jesus Christ! Come out and support the youth group by participating in this fun event!! You don't have to be a runner!! Research sponsored by the March of Dimes saved Duncan's life when he was born 4 months premature. The Blacklight Run™ is none other than the brightest, most fun 5K out there. Instead, we welcome any and all participants looking for a glowing good time. Whether you sprint it, run it, or walk it, it doesn’t matter to us! We simply want you to enjoy it. These three miles will be the best three miles you’ve ever spent with your friends and family—we promise.The Blacklight Run™ has been setup with very simple rules1) Wear a white shirt (any white T-shirt will work or wear your awesome commemorative Blacklight Run™ T-Shirt given with your registration) to be worn at the start line.2) You will finish covered in Blacklight Run™ UV Liquid Glow, that will glow in our Blacklight Zones™ and at the Blacklight Run After Party™. By the end, you will look like you fell into a Ghost Buster’s movie (minus the slime) and covered with different colored Blacklight Run™ UV Liquid Glow.
