The 13.1 Challenge

Are you ready to challenge yourself to something BIG and take your running to a new level of adventure? You are invited to join the 13.1 RUNNING CHALLENGE.Pick 13 Half Marathons to complete in one year's time and volunteer at one Half Marathon for your .1. When you are done, submit your results to us to be awarded your 13.1 medal andT-shirt along with our full congratulations (and a small surprise!) on finishing this mighty challenge! Not ready for 13.1 Half Marathons? 2019 Soldier Marathon

Our Soldier Marathon races (full marathon, half marathon, and 5k races) will celebrate their 10th year of running.  Our races start and finish at the National Infantry Museum. Part of our race course is on Fort Benning. Our mission is to salute the United States soldiers and their families.  Our race proceeds support the National Infantry Museum, House of Heroes and Team RWB.Event details and scheduleRegistration on Friday, November 15, 2019, at the National Infantry Museum and Saturday, November 16, 2019, before the race. Race date is Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 8:00 am. The course starts and finishes at the National Infantry Museum. The course runs 7 miles on Fort Benning. Plan to arrive about 1 hour early on race day to allow for parking.  Park at the National Infantry Museum and along South Lumpkin Road. Each runner needs to present an ID and sign a waiver.  Runners are not allowed to pick up registration and a runner's bib for another runner. Bring your ID. Hydration packs and backpacks are not allowed.  You may bring fuel belts if you wish, although water and Powerade will be provided on the course. Wear your running clothes and shoes.  Warm up clothing may be stored in a clear plastic bag (provided) and left in a secured area next to the Museum. Temperatures usually are in the 40's at the start and in the 60's and 70's after 11:00 am. Each runner will clear a security and bag check as they enter the National Infantry Museum grounds.  A clear plastic bag will be provided you to store dry clothing for after the race. All finisher's get a cool medal and t-shirt. Food and Drink will be provided for all runners after the race.

Rother Valley Running Festival

Rother Valley Country Park is the perfect location for a new exciting running festival. Set just outside of Sheffield and Rotherham with easy motorway access, it's the perfect event location for all runners looking to achieve their goals before the year-end. The routes are pretty flat so they should be quick courses for this time of year. 50k ultra, marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k events. 16/17 November.

Kirkstall Abbey Trail Running Festival 2019

A day of races on the trails which start and finish in the grounds of the magnificent Kirkstall Abbey. This established trail running festival is now in its 4th year and getting bigger and better every time. Take on the challenge of the 31 mile ultra, opt for the marathon, 20 mile or half marathon, or run the 8.8 mile option - the choice is yours. Four undulating multi-terrain lapped races consisting almost entirely of trails, with short road sections.

Fayetteville Half Marathon

Fayetteville, Arkansas is known as a great arts destination with many public works from large murals to little-known gems tucked in the nooks and crannies. We recently wandered around Fayetteville taking in the natural beauty and snapped a few shots of some of our favorite art pieces. If you haven’t explored the art scene in Fayetteville, add that to your bucket list!With that being said, the Fayetteville Half Marathon is the place to be!!Set among the mountainous green terrain of northwest Arkansas – and just a short drive from Bentonville, the world headquarters of the retail giant Walmart – the home of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football team plays host to the annual Fayetteville Half Marathon this fall.The race takes runners through the university campus and the city at large, for a race that will also feature a 5K and one-mile fun run & walk.

5th Annual C&D Canal Half Marathon & 5K

5th Annual Event! - Run Delaware's Most Scenic Certified Half-Marathon! ** Registration update!  The C&D Canal 5K is BACK!  Run a 5K along the beautiful, fast and flat C & D Canal Trail - the fall colors should be at their peak.  Join your half-marathon buddy or grab your 5K friends and hit the (paved) trail!  5K is $25/per person and includes our custom event shirt. RACE DATE: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2019  Half Marathon start: 8:00 am 5K start: 8:20 am Come out and join us on Delaware’s MOST SCENIC USATF Certified Half-Marathon Course along the fully-paved Michael N. Castle C&D Canal Trail. Point your GPS to Gunning-Bedford Middle School for parking. This event starts and finishes at the Biddle Point trailhead; strategically located only a short drive from Baltimore, Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Southeastern Pennsylvania. The trailhead is a modern facility with restrooms, picnic tables, and indescribable views of the historic C&D Canal. All runner parking will be across the street at the Gunning-Bedford Middle School, and free shuttle buses and bag check will be provided. You'll begin the first 6 miles of your run on a flat and fast course that runs only a few feet from the river before quickly climbing from the canal base and passing through Summit North Marina. There, you will pass through a modern marina and restaurant before proceeding about 1/2 mile to the turn-around point. A quick downhill descent and you are back on the flat portion of the trail for what is guaranteed to be a P.R. Finish! All participants will be professionally chip-timed using the RaceResult Timing System by Blue Cheetah Sports Timing, LLC. Along the route, you will pass by historic bridges, working tugs and freighters from all around the world, an abundance of wildlife, and the sheer beauty of this man-made miracle.Each half-marathon finisher will earn a CUSTOM FINISHER'S MEDAL, a technical-blend commemorative t shirt, and other great swag from our sponsors. Food and light refreshments will be provided at the start and finish, and ample water stops will be provided along the course for your comfort.
