About Jeff Galloway’s Program: The Galloway Run/Walk/Run Training Program is open to anyone who is interested in running. Perhaps you would like to fulfill a lifetime goal: of running a 5k, 10K, half marathon, marathon, or any distance? Looking for a PR? Our Team welcomes all levels. From beginners to Boston qualifiers. Full Time Running Program. Contact us at TeamMarathon@msn.com. We are excited to have you check out our Team! IS THIS GROUP RIGHT FOR ME? The Jeff Galloway training approach is suitable for all levels! We focus on achieving your goals. Remain injury free while having fun and building fitness. Bring a friend and join us for a Saturday morning run. Some Sundays and weekdays are available too. First 2 sessions are free. Experience great comradery, effective training and lots of support. 2017 to 2026! Our Program is on going.  OUR AREA: Primarily South Side and the Peninsula.  WEEKEND LONG RUNS: We also offer Hill/Track sessions on many of our lower mileage Saturdays. Bathroom facilities are nearby. Free sport drinks and/or water will be available. TIMES/LOCATIONS: Starting times and locations for all runs will vary depending on the season, temperatures and distances. DON'T DO THE LONG RUNS BY YOURSELF: Steadily train with us and make running an all year commitment. Don't lose your edge. Get healthy/remain healthy. Beginners (no minimum mileage base required)-Recreational-Competitive Runners are welcomed. Running during the Summer and Winter months can be a real challenge - especially if you're on your own. Don't hibernate and lose your fitness. Train with us. Different routes are planned - not just the same old boring routines. COACHING OUR VIRGINIA TEAM GALLOWAY: With over a combined 30 years of dependable and experienced coaching, we have maintained the longest on going Galloway Program in Virginia.  OUR MISSION: Train with the injury-free Galloway Programs. Our staff can help you reach your goals. Get in shape? Prepare for your first event? How about that PR? Starting rehab? Run with supportive Teammates. Enjoy a structured program with a custom training schedule designed just for you. 1 mile to a 100 + miles. 24 hours, multi-day events, etc. This is not a "one training schedule fits all" type Program. Enjoy the workouts in a non-competitive atmosphere (except at the races :). Start training, maintaining and improving your abilities. Recovering from an injury or medical issue? We can help.  This is an adventure!   GALLOWAY AMENITIES INCLUDE: Check out our new technical shirt, Training Programs book, a yearly Runners World subscription. And there are plenty of motivational, nutritional & running tips direct from Jeff himself. WHICH EVENTS DO WE TRAIN FOR?: Do you have a specific event(s) you want to do? We'll design a training program just for you. And we help you prepare for it. You're not alone. Your registration does not include race entry fees. GALLOWAY PARTICIPANTS: Are you in a different Galloway Program? You can transfer to us at no additional cost. And then renew as an Alumni at the cheaper rate when your existing membership expires. Refund Policy: The training fee is non-refundable. Requests for refunds are considered for medical reasons only, must be accompanied by a physician’s letter and must be submitted prior to the half-way point in the training season. A $25 processing fee will be retained.  NOTE: Vistors checking out the Program are required to sign our standard waiver/release form.

Run Club @ McKinley Park

Run Club @ McKinley Park   Run Club is designed for anyone wishing to have fun while getting better at the sport of running.  This Club will foster Sacramento local/McKinley Park runners and walkers to meet up, workout together, and learn the elements of an efficient run form.  Run Club meets every Wednesday evening (6:00 pm) at McKinley Park.     Run Club Workout Features Dynamic Warm-up:  This type of warm-up is what most professional athletes are doing before beginning their workout.  Proper warm-up and stretching will improve performance and reduce your risk for injury. Run Form Drills:  The run stride is broken into its components with various drills; we call these the A-B-C’s of running.  Improved muscle recruitment and coordination will lead to running faster and more efficiently. Run Strength Drills:  Build your lateral strength/stability, add horse-power, and increase endurance.  These drills will not only make your run “stronger” but, they will also help you reduce your risk for getting a running related injury. Focused Run Workout:  Each week a specific run lesson plan will be prepared and presented.  Having a “run strategy” will get you more out of every run workout; no more “junk miles”!  Features will include pace running, heart-rate zone running, intervals, steady-state, recovery, and much more!  Beginner (walk/run), intermediate (run/walk), and advanced (run only) run lesson plans will be offered at each workout. Run Coaching:  Each athlete will receive some personalized run coaching at every workout.  Get real-time feed-back on your form, balance, symmetry, stride length/rate, and much more!  If you have never had run coaching before, this will improve your run after your 1st session, guaranteed!Event details and scheduleSchedule and Location Day:  Every Wednesday (rain or shine).  We will take Holiday’s off. Workout Start:  6:00 pm. Dynamic Warm-up:  6:05 pm – 6:10 pm. Run Form Drills:  6:10 pm – 6:20 pm. Run Strength Drills:  6:20 pm – 6:30 pm. Focused Run Workout:  6:30 pm – until you are done. The 13.1 Challenge

Are you ready to challenge yourself to something BIG and take your running to a new level of adventure? You are invited to join the 13.1 RUNNING CHALLENGE.Pick 13 Half Marathons to complete in one year's time and volunteer at one Half Marathon for your .1. When you are done, submit your results to us to be awarded your 13.1 medal andT-shirt along with our full congratulations (and a small surprise!) on finishing this mighty challenge! Not ready for 13.1 Half Marathons? We have four levels to choose from:THE BASIC………....13.1 5K races and volunteer at one race.THE STRONG……..13.1 10K races and volunteer at one race.THE MIGHTY……..13.1 Half Marathon races and volunteer at one race.THE RANDOM WARRIOR......13.1 races of your choice ( must include one 5K,10K and Half Marathon) and volunteer at one race. Grab your running friends and join the fun! One Zone Running

Welcome to One Zone Running... To get this CITY running! We will provide you the opportunity to learn everything you've ever wanted to know about running or walkng.  Picutre yourself accomplishing your very first mile, or 5K.    Group runs, seminars for all your fitness needs, along with socials, and some cool running events is what is in store for you. Grab your friends and JOIN US!!!!!   We Run or walk the first Saturday of every month at One to One FItness 5451 N. University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33067 7:00am Please arrive a little early to sign in.  The race entry fee gets you into the Coral Springs Remembrance 5K Run/walk taking place at the Northwest regional Library on Saturday Sept 8th Club administrator will contact you if you are chosing the option of the race. This is just more than just running, we will offer socials, discount on races, and seminars on anything fitness related.  Group runs through Dec 2018 July 7th, August 4th, Sept 1st, Oct 6th, Nov 3rd, and Dec 1st Races we will be supporting Coral Springs Remembracne 5K Run/walk included in membership price is that is the option you chose Parkland Dash Soldier Rush Obstacle Course Race N Turkey Trot Coral Springs Holiday Mile  Event details and scheduleOne Zone Running reserves the right to postpone or cancel any event due to events outside of the clubs control such as a natural disaster or other emergencies. Stockhorn-Halbmarathon

Nach dem Start in Oberwil im Simmental führt die wunderschöne Laufstrecke vorbei an den Ruinen vom Weissenburgbad, über den Weissenburgberg nach Balzenberg und über die Vorderstockenalp, den Oberstockensee umrundend hinauf auf das Stockhorn. 21,1 Kilometer pures Laufvergnügen!

Down Tow Up Flow Half Marathon

A gloriously scenic, flat, multi-terrain, point-to-point half marathon along the Thames towpath (therefore mainly traffic-free). Run in reverse directions each year; in 2018 it is "Up Flow' therefore starting in Windsor and finishing in Marlow, taking in Bourne End, Cookham & Maidenhead along the way.As this is a point-to-point race, you can (if you wish) park at the finish in Marlow and take the coach provided to the start (additional £8 and must be pre-booked) - once you've finished the race your car will be there waiting for you! Spectacular finish and brilliant for spectators, with plenty of vantage points along the way. Refreshments at the start & finish, so bring the family!
