Triathlon Swim Club

DescriptionThe triathlon swim club is for swimmers of any level, beginner through seasoned triathlete. During each practice, swimmers can expect to have our coach begin with a warm up, move into drills and technique work, followed by sprints and distance swimming. TBF Track Attack

TBF Track Attack is a year-round training group designed for runners, triathletes and duathletes seeking to improve running efficiency, strength and speed. Our focus is to motivate, educate and facilitate novice to experienced athletes in reaching their running goals.   TBF Track Attack meets every Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm in Beaver Stadium at American River College. The track is located on the southwest corner of the campus at College Oak and Winding Way. There is an entrance on the West side just North of Winding Way. Get directions to American River College from Google Maps. Workouts are coached from start to finish with personal attention given to each athlete. The program design follows a periodized training schedule with Base in the Winter, Build in the Spring, Race in the Summer, and Maintenance in the Fall. Running efficiency is emphasized through education, practice of drills, and feedback from the coaches. The main set of the workout is typically between 3-4 miles. As the peak racing season progresses, the focus shifts from skill-building aerobic to strength-building anaerobic. In addition to the personal challenge, workouts are structured to be fun and to foster a friendly team environment. Anyone with a willingness to learn how to become a more efficient, stronger runner will benefit from joining TBF Track Attack. Novices will learn how to run correctly before developing injuries from improper running form and get a great workout. Sea of Galilee Tiberias Marathon

This is the highest quality Marathon that takes place in Israel, along a comfortable route that starts and finishes in Tiberias and runs along the southern shore of the Kinneret in an enchanting panorama up to Ein Gev and back.We perceive this event as being of utmost importance and, consequently, we have decided to focus on the merits and heats on the date of the event and, therefore, will make every effort in order to hold an especially high quality marathon that surpasses the level of all those that preceded it and, as such, enable you, the athletes, to receive the maximum enjoyment of the experiencing a one-of-a-kind marathon.In line with the highest tradition, a complete sports happening will take place around the marathon, headed by the traditional 10 km race and 21 km half-marathon race. after the start of the marathon and, during a part of the race, the participants will run along the Barniki and Shikmim Beaches on a segment of the lane around the Kinneret which was recently surfaced right on the lake shore.The Kinneret Urban Association is happy to host participants in the marathon on its beaches and is prepared with water distributing stations and music for the pleasure of the athletes.During the happening there will also be stalls for sales at cheap prices and, of course a pasta evening which will take place on the evening before.We will be happy to see you, the athletes, participate in this unique international popular and competitive sporting event together with your families and supporters.

We ask that all marathon participants be able to maintain a 16 minute brisk walk pace for 3 miles at the beginning of training.
