11th ANNUAL RUN FOR THE KIDS 5K
This 5K is a flat and fast road course. The race is open to all ages and abilities including walkers. No pets allowed. Strollers are allowed but must start at the rear. This race has been certified by USATF/RRTC ~ Certification Code: GA12007WC and is an Official AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event.Event details and scheduleRace Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 6:30AM 5K: Starts at 8AM Awards: Overall M/F, Masters M/F, Grand Masters M/F, Senior Grand Masters M/F, and 3 deep in standard 5 year age groups. Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 5/17/19. Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size. There will be plenty of refreshments. Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2019 Black Bag Race Series. Feel the Burn 5k 2019
Come to our 5k and run our scenic route on our gorgeous island. On your way here drive over the most active drawbridge in the United States and see our breath taking scenery. On your run/walk check out our local attractions, along with the beautiful water scenes you will get to experience. The Lake Games has partnered with the Lilly Center for Lakes and Streams at Grace College to bring new events to this year's Lakes Festival over Memorial Day weekend! Come out and support National Vitiligo Bond Inc Foundation and enjoy a great morning race on the Atlanta BeltLine. The Start & Finish is in Historic Fourth Ward Park, but the rest of the race is on the BeltLine between Krogg & Ponce Market. VBI is a registered nonprofit 501c(3) organization that aims to provide support and advocacy for people living with vitiligo. VBI has grown into a worldwide support group, through its social media presence. VBI is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and a cure for vitiligo. The founder of VBI, Natasha Pierre McCarthy is a vitiligan, and understands what it is like to live with the disorder. This has given her the passion and understanding to advocate for others living with the disorder. Natasha hopes that her platform will provide support to members and improve their quality of life. VBI continues to grow in popularity. Its social media presence provides hundreds of vitiligans worldwide to access with a private VBI Facebook support group. VBI has mentored several state start-up support groups. The last seven years VBI has worked with legislation and state governors to help coordinate state awareness for 18 states. In addition, VBI works with community partners to educate about vitiligo. VBI has a vitiligo awareness, anti-bullying intervention program and a self-esteem social on-going program geared towards youth and adults. VBI supporters are proud of the organization’s many accomplishments and look forward to its continued success. 2019 Path of the Flood Historic Races
A Flood of Runners will be returning to Johnstown, PA for the 6th year of the Path of the Flood Historic Races! Experience the Path of the historic 1889 Johnstown Flood in its entirety with the Half Marathon or in small droplets through the 5K or 12K races. See the resiliency of the communities of South Fork, Mineral Point, the boroughs and the City of Johnstown. Run through Staple Bend Tunnel, the first railroad tunnel in the United States. Finish at the Old Stone Bridge, which still stands after stopping the majority of the flood's energy. Our hybrid road/rail trail course beckons you to be a part of history once again! Oregon Spring 2019
An Oregon Half Marathon Series event - the SPRING has proven to be a popular race in Oregon. A great race at a great location - Heirloom Roses in St. Paul, Oregon welcomes you and your personal cheering crowd to the Oregon Spring Half Marathon, 5k, & 10k. Start line is on the road - the finish line is at the end of the rose tunnel. Starting at 8:30 AM, the Qdoba Mexican Grill feast replenishes everything you left on the course. The course is flat and fast - except for the hill. The 2017 event will certainly draw the area's top runners, and the best looking participants! The Fairchance Exchange Club presents the 6th Annual Chevron "Ribs for Cribs" 5K Run/Walk. Making a difference for the youth of the community one step at a time.
