Sixth Annual 5K A Step Forward for Hispanic Women Come and join us for our Sixth Annual 5K Run/Walk and help empower underserved Hispanic women. 18th Annual Great West Chase

The Great West Chase is a USATF/RRTC nationally certified, chip-timed 10K & 5K run organized by the World of Westchase to benefit a local school.Event details and scheduleDEADLINES: Online registration closes Oct. 22 @ 9 p.m. Registration is available for walkups at packet pickup on Oct. 24 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. & 3-7 p.m, and race day starting at 5:30 a.m. LOCATION:  The race will be held in the heart of beautiful Westchase in Northwest Hillsborough County. Start and finish lines for the runs will be located in the West Park Village Town Center.  Visit our website at www.thegreatwestchase.com for a full map of the routes. DIRECTIONS: From downtown Tampa (I-275) proceed north on Veterans Expressway to the Linebaugh exit. Proceed west on Linebaugh through the entrance to Westchase at the corner of Sheldon and Linebaugh. Entrances to West Park Village will exist one block east and west of Linebaugh’s intersection with Montague Street. Parking is on the side streets of West Park Village, please visit our website for a complete overview of location and parking & road closure information. PACKET PICKUP:  Held Thursday, October 24 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 3-7 p.m. at the Westchase Recreation Center located at 9791 Westchase Drive.  RACE DAY:  Registration opens at 5:30a.m., 10k run will begin promtly at 7:00a.m., 5k run at 8:00a.m, and children's fun run at 9:00a.m.  Awards will take place after each run's results have been tallied.   AWARDS:   Top 3 M/F Overall, Top Masters & Grand Masters M/F, and 3 deep in standard 5 year age groups awarded for the 5K & 10K.  All Challengers will receive a finisher medal. All runners are eligible to be entered into a raffle for great prizes, must be present to win. Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle 5K

The Georgia Trust’s Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle 5K is taking place Halloween weekend, and what could be more fun than a run from a spooky castle? Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 9 a.m. and bring your whole family for the Rhodes Race at the Haunted Castle 5K. This dog- and stroller-friendly 5K will wind through the creepy twists and ghoulish hills of one of Atlanta's oldest and loveliest neighborhoods, Ansley Park. Feel free to run or walk in your best Halloween costume! Afterwards join us at the hair-raising after-party at Rhodes Hall for a costume contest, delicious food and great prizes. You can even take a tour inside our haunted castle, and who knows, maybe you’ll get a glimpse of our resident apparition. 2019 Ghost 5k & Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run

With Halloween in the air, the 8th running of the Ghost, Goblins & Ghouls Spooktacular 5k and Scarecrow Sprint Fun Run will take place at The Barn @ ONE Loudoun on Saturday, October 26 with a 4 PM start time. The event will center on the spooktacular theme of Halloween and incorporate a costume contest, Halloween themed activities, trick or treating and MORE! Halloween Hustle 5K/10K

The Halloween Hustle 5K/10K takes place on a scenic, paved-trail course during the peak of autumn. It starts on the east end of Covington City Park and, loops north, proceeds directly west on the beautiful wooded trail. The trail is relatively flat and because it is an out and back, you will gain momentum toward your finish.  You finish the last half mile running past the soccer fields (where you began) with music motivating you to cross the finish line. Pre-register before Oct 11, 2018 to guarantee a shirt. Races are chip timed-First place medals will be awarded in each age division listed above for both races including an overall race winner in male and female divisions.   5K and 10K begin by the soccer pavilion on the Covington Circle trail. The course loops around the soccer field and heads east near the trojan Complex, the 5K turnaround is the second parking lot on trojan Complex Road (water station and sign will be there) and concludes at the starting line. The 10K continues out past the 5k turnaround to the Pearl Street trailhead and turns around (water station and sign) and concludes at the startling line.   Strollers are welcome. Service pets only. Bib/t-shirt pickup is Thursday, October 24, from 5-7 pm at the Covington Nursery School (1135 Liberty, Covington).
