5K FOR HOPE AND HEALTH
For over 20 years, the South DeKalb Striders have sponsored an annual 5K road race. This year the event again utilize Michelle Obama path rather than the local streets. It is a lovely course. In addition, to encourage more runners to register early, the price of $5.00 will rise to $10 on August 10, 2019.Event details and scheduleThe race will start at 8 am. Please arrive early.

2019 Olathe Charities 5K
The 5th Annual Olathe Charities 5K is a great way to get your family out and support your favorite cause. This event is a multiple charity race and each participant gets to choose which charity to support. In addtion to the race event, there will be many family fun activities for participants and spectators to include, bounce house, photo booth and more! This year we are featuring a FREE kids fun run as well. Hope to see you there! The Police Benevolent Foundation’s Race for the Fallen (R4TF) GLOW RUN honors fallen officers and their families. TIME:The Race for the Fallen will begin at 8:00 PM (or after sunset). LOCATION:Enjoy a waterfront run as the course travels along the Riverwalk Trail and Percival's Island Natural Area. The race will start at the Riverwalk Trail entrance off Concord Turnpike. Look for the inflated arch on race day to find the start line. (Follow the signs posted on race day). PILOT SUMMER SCRAMBLE 5K
Come out to the first Summer Scramble 5K presented by the Pilot Club of Monroe. The race starts at Centerhill Baptist Church in Monroe GA. Pilot International was founded in 1921 in Macon, Georgia. Pilot Club service projects and fundraisers benefit the local community. Hands-on service projects emphasize Brain-related disorders, disabilities and BrainMinders and other projects like Anchor club, Uniting Hope for Children and Pilot ParkEvent details and scheduleRace day registration and packet pickup will begin at 6:30AM 5K starts at 7:30AM Awards: Awards will be presented to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and Top 3 Male/Female in age groups beginning with 10 and under through 75 and over. Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.athlinks.com and www.active.com Shirts and Goodies: T-shirts will be guaranteed to participants who pre-register by 8/14/19 and will be given to late registrants as available the day of the event. Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2019 Black Bag Race Series. Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. 3rd ANNUAL MOUNT VERNON LODGE APRON RUN 5K
Come out for the 3rd Annual Mount Vernon Lodge Apron Run 5K in Winterville, GA. The course is on paved streets and is fairly flat. Proceeds benefit the Masonic Childrens Home of Georgia.Event details and scheduleRace Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 6:30AM in the picnic pavilion 5K: Starts at 7:30AM Awards: The 5K overall male and female winner, master’s male and female winner, and first three finishers, male and female, in age groups of 5 year increments will receive awards. FOURTH ANNUAL TWO VIRGINIAS 5K CHALLENGE
The Two Virginias 5K Challenge is a point to point CERTIFIED 5K event starting in Bluefield, WV and finishing in Bluefield, VA. Starting at the Bluefield Chamber of Commerce on Bland Street, the course is mostly downhill to the finish. Transportation will be provided to get back to the start of the event. $100 CASH PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE TOP MALE AND FEMALE FNISHER! RUN Roanoke will be timing the event this year using a chip timing system. Event details and scheduleEvent Schedule: Register early, the first 100 participants to preregister receive an event t-shirt. Race day registration and packet pick-up 7:00-8:30am at the Bluefield Chamber of Commerce located at 619 Bland St, Bluefield, WV 24701. 5K Challenge begins at 9am. Awards ceremony following the event at the finish. Transportation back to the start will be provided following the event. Course: The 5K challenge course is mostly downhill from start to finish. The event will start near the Chamber of Commerce on Federal Street in Bluefield, WV. The finish will be on Virginia Avenue in Bluefield, VA near the National Bank.
