Bedford Sprint Triathlon Series

400m Pool Swim/24k Road Cycle/5k Park Run The Bedford Super Sprint Triathlon Series has been on the calendar since 2004 and has attracted a whole spectrum of competitors from complete novices – who see just the 400m swim a challenge – right up to national champions. The format is simple – 3 identical races spanning the season. The man and woman with the shortest total time at the end are the winners. London to Cologne Cycle (26 September)

This varied and exciting route begins at St Pauls Cathedral in London, through Kent, the Garden of England, and to the port of Dover. Here we’ll cross the English Channel to Calais. The following day we’ll begin a further three days through France, Belgium & The Netherlands before crossing the German border, ending our ride at the foot of a Gothic masterpiece – Cologne Cathedral.You’ll have a full day to explore this fascinating city before returning to the UK on a flight to London to Heathrow in the early evening. Here the trip comes to an end.

Birchfield Harriers 10km Poppy Run

Camba Events is delighted to be once again involved with the third running of this event - Birchfield Harriers having taken over the organisation of the Aldridge Poppy Run in 2016. The course will be approximately 10kms in length starting from Aldridge Airport, and after taking in the old airport will lead you through Hayhead Wood, Cuckoo's Nook and The Dingle before returning to the airport. The trail route encounters stiles, steps, narrow foot bridge crossings and beautiful woodland trails. Run under UK Athletics and Trail Running Association rules, the race is open to all competitors aged over 16.

Ealing Mini Mile 2019

Saturday 28th September 2019. The Mini Mile and the Family Mile races are set to inspire hundreds of young runners to get active and be part of a big weekend of sport in the West London borough.Event details and scheduleCome and join us at the amazing Ealing Mini Mile which now has a new Family Mini Mile entry so you can take part with your children 5 years of age and under!! Due to a huge demand from our young runners our Mini Mile will take place the day before the Ealing Half Marathon on Saturday 28th September 2019 also allowing for a greater number of participants.The Ealing Mini Mile will start in the afternoon (wave times, details to follow), and covers a one mile route around Ealing’s Lammas Park where the race and charity village. This year sees our biggest ever field of runners,there will be SIX races depending on age and the start times are as follows*: 12:00 Family Mini Mile, 13:00 6-7 year olds, 13:40 8 year old, 14:20 9 year old, 15:00 10-11 year olds, 15:40 12-16 year olds. All children in the Familiy Mini Mile will receive a t-shirt (designed by a local schoolchild), medal, chip timing and water on finishing. The grown ups in the Familiy Mini Mile will get a medal to take home. *times subject to change
